Yoshiko (Peggy) Hill is a native of Chicago, IL who graduated from the University Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in English and Electrical Engineering (specializing in utility power grids). She previously worked at the Illinois Power Company in Decatur, IL; US Army Corps of Engineers in Urbana, IL; and lastly, at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, MI. She was previously a member of IEEE (both Central Illinois and Michigan Chapters) and on the board of directors of the Clean Energy Coalition in Ann Arbor and on the Energy Conservation Committee of the City of Ann Arbor. She was also appointed to serve by the Michigan State Public Service Commission on a committee to assess the value of a Detroit Edison Energy Conservation program. When Peggy’s husband was transferred to West Palm Beach, Peggy took early retirement and moved with her husband to Florida. There, she decided to take up a 2nd career in real estate in South Florida.
